iCare Humanity Ghana is a pro-poor, non-profit organisation in Ghana. Since inception in June 2014, we are dedicated to alleviating poverty and hardships for the poor and vulnerable in deprived communities and villages in rural Ghana especially on the Kwahu Ridge of Ghana. We are committed to helping deprived people in rural Ghana in the areas of Health, Education and Shelter. We are very passionate about the education and health of needy, stray and vulnerable children, impoverished youth and school dropouts. We endeavour to enhance the life of children and helpless families and communities through education, vocational training, health insurance cover and community development programs.
iCare Humanity Ghana is a non-profit organization in Ghana. Our main office is located at Atibie-Kwahu in the Eastern Region of Ghana. iCare Humanity Ghana was named so in relation to partners who saw the need to care and support the deprived communities in Ghana
It was started by Eric Simpson and Ruth Jarman whose dedication and contributions in transforming the lives of many impoverished people is beyond par. They have supported impoverished children and communities with accessories to improve their formal education. Vulnerable children have gained Health Insurance Covers through their efforts and exercise books, school uniforms, school fees, pens, pencils and a sewing centre with sewing machines has been built at Atibie-Kwahu to provide vocational training for interested children in the community.
Their efforts have brought hope to the hopeless and smiles on the faces of children who otherwise were relegated to the footnotes of life. They believed that the best way to bring about a change in the life of the impoverished is to offer them selfless and developmental assistance.
